I think that the way that guy was walking on water is maybe because he got revived while he was on your sinking ship and right when he was revived the ship was close enough to the ground so it tricked the game into thinking he was still on your ship

I spent the first day of this year grinding for 9 ashen vault keys and then doing half of the vaults back to back. But i forgot to put the loot outside of the tunnel and thats how i wasted the first 9 hours of this year

little kinda useless tip but if you board someone and have little bit of time and dont know what to do, place food on their cooking station, people wont notice if you keep presure and it will actually burn slowly, this will only work if you keep preasure on top of
